Juurikkasaari Summer Terrace and Lakeside Grill

Welcome to Juurikkasaari lakeside terrace – the living room of the locals of Säynätsalo, Jyväskylä!

Located by the gentle waves of Lake Päijänne, just a 20-minute drive from downtown Jyväskylä, Juurikkasaari lakeside terrace offers delicious food and drinks from the beach bar and grill. The terrace has won the summer terrace competition organized by the local newspaper in 2023 and 2024!

On the terrace, you’ll also find an Art Gelato ice cream bar and a Pommery champagne lounge, where you can enjoy a glass of bubbly drink. Next to the terrace is our guest pier, welcoming boaters arriving by water. For fans of summer activities, SUP boards are available for rent at the beach bar, or you can relax in the warmth of the beachside tent sauna!
