Five Canal Boat Trip | Jyväskylä-Äänekoski-Jyväskylä

Cruise the Keitele–Päijänne Canal from Jyväskylä to Äänekoski and back, or choose a shorter journey! Connecting six lakes, this scenic waterway takes you through all five canal locks, lifting the ship over 20 meters along the way. Watch the water rise around you, with the impressive Paatela lock alone lifting the ship around 7.5 meters! On the return journey, stop at Saraakallio in Laukaa to admire over 7,000-year-old rock paintings from the ship’s deck – older even than the Egyptian pyramids!
