The Active Life Festival 2025 is a new impactful public event focusing on wellbeing, taking place at Saimaa Stadiumi in Mikkeli, Finland.

The event is intended for residents of South Savo, and for visitors of the region – for all those who value physical activity, recovery, nature, and food as sources of health and wellbeing, and who want to learn more about these topics.

The event highlights three themes: a healthy body and mind, nature and wellbeing, and wellbeing from food. The program of the day includes:

*Exhibitors – professionals from the wellbeing and tourism industries showcasing their products and services.
*Information sessions – experts from the wellbeing sector sharing their knowledge and presenting their services.
*Expert lectures – the latest research-based information on health and wellbeing, featuring authors Ms. Kerttu Kotakorpi and Dr. Harri Gustafsberg, a professor of nutrition therapy Dr. Ursula Schwab, and several experts from the Active Life Lab.
*Experiential activities – boosting energy, relaxation, and learning in wellbeing moments.

Meet and greet the beautiful Mikkeli at Lake Saimaa, and the top-class wellbeing experts, be inspired by research-based knowledge, and pick up the best tips to support your wellbeing!

The event is organized by the Active Life HUB development project, led by Active Life Lab, a research unit of South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences. The project is co-funded by the European Union, main body for funding being the South Savo Regional Council, from 01.09.2023 to 31.08.2025.
