Visit Alhon Huopatehdas | The Finnish Felt Factory, a family-owned factory established in 1927, and discover nearly 100 years of Finnish craftsmanship in its historic factory courtyard.

Our wool felt slippers, sauna hats and other wool felt products are made here in Jämsä, surrounded by old brick factory buildings where production continues to this day. The Factory Shop offers a wide selection of our most popular products, including warm and comfortable wool felt slippers and sauna hats inspired by Finnish sauna culture. You may also find special batches and products that are not available elsewhere.

The Courtyard Shop is an essential part of the Factory Shop experience. Located next to the old warehouse building, it offers materials, special batches and a variety of interesting finds.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to help you choose the right product and size, as well as provide information about materials and product care.

After shopping, take a moment to relax in our air-conditioned café and enjoy homemade treats. Ice cream is also available during the summer.
