Basic Bushcraft Skills in the Finnish Forest

Bushcraft skills to boost your confidence! You don’t need to be Tarzan to manage in the wild, but you do need to know something. On this trip we keep on the more comfortable side of survival, learning some basic skills that come in handy when doing trips in the nature. On this trip we take a short tram/bus ride to a close by nature preserve with plenty of nice trails. After a short hike we make camp and set up training spots for various skills, for example;

– Using a knife and an axe.
– Building and lighting a fire without matches.
– Reading a map, using a compass.

Exact program will vary a bit according to season and weather. We’ll have some coffee, tea or hot juice IF we get the fire going!

– Learn basic, easy bushcraft skills. Get a boost in confidence to get out in the wild more.
– Disconnect with the modern world and reconnect with Mother Nature.
