Free Admission Day: The Birthday of the City of Jyväskylä

To celebrate Jyväskylä’s birthday, admission to the Aalto2 Museum Centre is free all day on Sunday 22 March.

Come and celebrate Jyväskylä’s birthday at the Aalto2 Museum Centre!

During the day, you can explore our current exhibitions: AALTO – Work and Life, Exploring Central Finland, Marie-José Van Hee – For Sun and Wind to Paint on, Land Surveying and Mapping in Finland – Central Finland on the Map, and COLOUR – Highlights from the Art Collections of Central Finland.

Throughout the day, you can take part in a self-guided workshop in the Nappula activity space and create your own comic about the founding of Jyväskylä. What would your version of the city’s colourful early days look like?
