Joroinen Music Festival

Lied and chamber music concerts held in atmospheric manor houses and magnificent churches have been at the heart of the Joroinen Music Festival since 1977. Concerts are held in Joroinen, Juva, Leppävirta, and Rantasalmi. The festival program includes gems of art music, concerts for children, and a variety of entertainment events.

The theme of the 2026 Joroinen Music Festival, Oma Tunto (Conscience), focuses on the inner voice of human beings, that silent compass that guides our choices, actions, and relationships with others. We do not approach conscience as a nagging judge or a voice of guilt, but as a positive and inspiring force that calls us to act wisely, gently, and courageously.
