Hugo’s public and private smoke sauna sessions

Experience a unique Arctic smoke sauna adventure with your group! Typically, on Fridays or Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, we offer a communal sauna session. However, you can also book a private smoke sauna at other times.

Our establishment boasts two traditional outdoor wood-fired smoke saunas. A smoke sauna means there’s no chimney in the stove, allowing all the smoke to pass through the sauna. After heating, you’ll find fresh air inside. The sauna experience begins with a starting temperature of about +85°C, maintaining a cozy +65°C even after a 5-hour session. You have the flexibility to choose when to start your sauna session, whether you prefer it hotter or milder.

Right next to the saunas, you will find a luxurious hot tub, also heated with firewood, maintaining a temperature between 38 and 40°C.

Lake Rautjärvi is just 30 meters away from the sauna door. During the summertime, you can enjoy a refreshing swim, while in winter, take a quick dip in the cold water at +0°C before returning to the sauna. Spend two or three relaxing hours in the sauna and hot tub, surrounded by the great outdoors.

Here, you’ll immerse yourself in the wild nature, embracing the tranquility and darkness. Experience everything from the sound of rain or snow to a bright sky filled with stars. No matter the weather, every condition is perfect for a sauna session.
