Kulhanvuori & Syväojanrotko 3,5 km Nature trail

A perfect day trip destination for those looking for stunning ridge and gorge scenery. In the Kulha nature reserve, you can experience Kulhavuori (Kulha Mountain), one of the highest points in Central Finland, rising 260 metres above sea level. You can hike into the mysterious Syväojanrotko (Syväojan Gorge), a stunning gorge valley over one kilometre long. Its vertical rock walls rise to the level of the treetops. The ice on the rock walls sometimes melts only during the summer months, as sunlight only reaches the north-eastern wall of the gorge. There is a campfire site with firewood.
