Villa Saimaa provides the perfect setting for a nature-filled holiday. The nearby forests of Särkilahti contain the best spots for berry and mushroom picking. Here, you can collect nature’s own offerings directly: blueberries, raspberries, lingonberries, and various mushrooms. In the autumn, we invite you for a relaxing fishing weekend to enjoy the tranquility of the lake. Near the cottage, there is also a concrete boat ramp, which you can use to easily launch your own boat.
We have the best and cheapest fishing boats in Finland, prices 70-120 euros per day + gasoline. The boats have a new 20 hp 4T engine, Lowrance Elite FS 9 echo sounder and Minnkota satellite anchor. Welcome to a fishing trip to Simpelejärvi or Saimaa. The fishing package includes ordered boats and gasoline delivered to the cottage pier. This year we have had fishermen from over 15 countries.
