Taiken – Experiences in the Finnish Countryside in Keuruu, Lakeland Finland

Taiken is a Japanese word that means experience. Our aim is to offer meaningful experiences through accommodation and various activities in an authentic Finnish rural landscape, surrounded by peace and quiet.

Taiken’s property is located in the countryside of Keuruu, with a total accommodation capacity for 12 guests. This creates a calm and communal atmosphere for both individual travelers and small groups.

Guests can stay in a comfortable 12 m² twin room equipped with separate beds and a spacious wardrobe. The room is designed for simple yet pleasant lodging and provides a peaceful place to rest after a day of activities.

The accommodation includes bed linen, towels and a daily sauna session. Shared facilities include showers, toilets and a washing machine. A well-equipped communal kitchen makes cooking easy — it features a dishwasher, fridge–freezer, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, stove, oven, air fryer and all necessary cookware and utensils. Outside, a large gas grill is available for summer evenings.

The outdoor sauna offers a cosy and atmospheric sauna experience, and for an additional fee you can enjoy a warm hot tub — perfect for relaxing under the evening sky or the stars.

Check-in is available from 3 p.m. onwards, and check-out should be completed by 12 noon (exceptions can be agreed separately). Children under 2 years stay free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult, including meals.
