Overnight Sauna Experience by the Foal Pasture – At Taiken in Keuruu, Lakeland Finland

Taiken is a Japanese word that means experience. Our aim is to offer visitors meaningful experiences in an authentic Finnish rural landscape, surrounded by peace and quiet. Sauna holds a deeply rooted place in everyday life and celebrations in Central Finland, and Finnish sauna culture is also internationally recognized — it has been inscribed on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Varsalaitumen löylyt – All Night Long combines this tradition with the surrounding nature and the unhurried atmosphere of the countryside, creating a truly unique experience.

This overnight sauna and hot tub experience takes place at Taiken’s property, next to the foal pasture. You will have access to a cosy outdoor sauna and a warm hot tub throughout the evening and night. Relax under the starry sky, listen to the sounds of nature, and observe the calm nighttime behaviour of the foals in the paddock.

The price includes an evening snack, breakfast, and the use of the sauna and hot tub from 9 p.m. to 12 noon. Accommodation is provided in Taiken’s comfortable rooms — a perfect opportunity to rest if you wish to fully embrace the sauna marathon and the tranquillity of the night.

Towels are included in the experience. The maximum group size is 4 persons.
