Kotiniemi Small Farm is located in the peaceful countryside of Koskenkylä, Saarijärvi, surrounded by fields and a gently flowing river. At the heart of the farm is beekeeping: honey is collected by hand from the farm’s own hives, with great respect for nature’s biodiversity. Beautiful, traditional candles are crafted from pure beeswax.

The farm animals bring life and joy to the yard. Sheep graze along the riverbank, and the chickens bustle about the yard in their friendly, curious way.

Traditional handicrafts also live strong at Kotiniemi. Part of the farm’s wool is hand‑spun using old techniques, and yarn is also spun from the fur of customers’ pets – a unique and heartfelt keepsake.

A small farm shop sells the farm’s own products, including honey, wool yarn, and beeswax candles.

Kotiniemi is a place where bees do their valuable work, animals are well cared for, and traditions are woven into everyday life.
