In the Jyväskylä Region, Finnish nature can be experienced in miniature. The trails in the region’s four national parks transport the visitors up ridges of whispering pines, to the shores of glittering blue lakes, to expanses of bogland, fascinating boulder fields, wilderness forests and foaming rapids. In the national parks, we move around with respect for nature: wildlife is observed from a distance and with as little noise as possible, whilst and ensuring that no rubbish is left behind.
