A Unique Finnish Sauna Experience – Sauna by the Foal Pasture at Taiken

Taiken is a Japanese word that means experience. Our aim is to offer visitors meaningful experiences in an authentic Finnish rural landscape, surrounded by peace and quiet.

Sauna holds a deeply rooted place in everyday life and celebrations in Central Finland, and Finnish sauna culture is also internationally recognized: it has been inscribed on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The Varsalaitumen löylyt experience brings together this tradition, the surrounding nature and the unhurried atmosphere of the countryside into a truly unique moment.

This two-hour sauna and hot tub session takes place at Taiken’s property, next to the foal pasture. You will have access to a cosy outdoor sauna and a warm hot tub, where you can relax in the fresh country air while watching the playful movements of the foals in their peaceful environment.

Towels are included in the sauna experience. The maximum group size is 4 persons, and the price is €40 per person.
