Restaurant Ruukinranta in Oravi harbour, Lake Saimaa region

Our specials include local fish (vendace, perch, pike and pike-perch) in different ways, local elk, mushrooms and berries. The large sun terrace is perfect for watching boats go by and enjoying our famous elk pizzas with cold drinks! Restaurant Ruukinranta is located on the former iron factory area and reflects the local history with the name Ruukinranta. Photographs of the Oravi’s ironwork era are on permanent display in the restaurant and are well worth seeing.

We are open May-September. During the winter we are open on request for groups.
