Riimukivi Yule Market and 19th Century Christmas Fair

Christmas at Riimukivi Farm is full of magic. Light from the lanterns plays on the old log walls and the scent of fir branches fills the hall. In the snow covered yard, fire light illuminates the fading winter day and hot delicacies steam in the fire pit.

Many local artisans and farms bring their goods to the Riimukivi Yule Market and the stalls are filled with skillful crafts, delicious Christmas treats, and locally made gifts for Santa’s sack and Christmas table.

In the snow covered courtyard, you can enjoy a cup of traditional Glögi, a hot spiced drink, and grilled delicacies by the roaring fire: delicious Riimukivi stew, which has been cooked overnight in the large stone oven, traditional rice porridge with cinnamon, gravlax on rye bread, and a nice, thick slice of date cake with ginger jam and cardamom cream.
