Wivi Lönn and Hanna Parviainen were significant women in Finnish history. Wivi Lönn was the first Finnish woman to establish her own architectural office. Hanna Parviainen was granted as the first woman in Finland the Finnish honorary title of “kauppaneuvos” (commercial counselor). On the tour, you will hear about the fascinating lives of this power couple on the island of Säynätsalo in the 1920s and 1930s.
